Tamsui District, New Taipei City｜SOMNI COFFEE 自家烘焙不限時咖啡廳

A really nice cafe with great coffee made from their own beans, really pleasant ambience, and one of the nicest barista I’ve met! I had originally asked for a Dirty Matcha Latte (matcha latte with espresso), but it was not part of the menu, so I ended up ordering a normal coffee. As we were seated upstairs, the barista came after about 10 minutes and offered a Dirty Matcha Latte he said he tried experimenting, and asked us to try and share our feedback. Glad we came across this cafe with a barista that cares about the customers, and took the effort to make and offer us the complimentary drink. Meeting such nice people really makes our day during our visit in Taiwan!

Great environment for working or chatting. Speeds are 18u/7d, and plenty of outlets. Drinks are pricier (just an americano is 130nt) but you can get some fancier beans here. Only desserts and drinks, no savory items, and few non-caffeine options. 3rd floor is not always open for sitting, but go there for the men's restroom.

I went to somni coffee today and loved it. I had a latte and the barista helped me pick out the roast that best suited me. I also got a pastrie that was amazing!!! The owner allowed me to sample one of the drip coffees, as I was interested in the different brews, which was very nice. The staff were all very helpful and kind. Additionally, the facilities are kept very clean including the bathroom. The shop has 4 floors so even though there were many people, we were able to get a comfortable table. I highly recommend somni coffee! Thank you so much!!!
