What's not to love about this coffee shop where you are surrounded by buckets and vats of beans in different states of being roasted. Today business was brisk, and the smell of roasting coffee lingered outside on the street. Mr. Lin, the proprietor, is happy to make a suggestion for you, and will answer any questions you might have about coffee (in Mandarin). At only NT100 a pot, there's no excuse not to keep coming back to try all his different beans. Neighborhood ladies like to drop by in groups for coffee tasting sessions. There aren't many seats, and the tables and counters are also being used for sorting coffee...technically you are blissfully sitting in their workshop, but Mr. Lin was happy to push some things around to accommodate me at the bar.
