Starbucks. The comfort of knowing what you will get this particular location has a solid selection of pastries many with Taiwan local or common ingredients. Quite spacious overall, you should be able to find a seat at most times especially as there are two other branches within immediate walking distance, alleviating heavy crowding.

Great view and great atmosphere!

Cheerful atmosphere. They open early at 6AM, which accommodates my jet-lagged travels perfectly. The place is located in an area where many international visitors stay, so it's not out of place ordering in English. My US Starbucks card doesn't work here, but they do accept international Credit Cards. There is free wifi but you will need to register with your telephone number. When my number didn't work, the staff was helpful in providing a registration code for me. Lines can get super long when there are sales. The longest I've seen is when there was a buy one get one free sale. The line formed a curvy snake throughout the whole store.
