The service is awesome especially for the birthday celebration. The paint is so cute. The food is good also with clean/comfortable environment. Highly recommended.

Ordered the A5 Japanese Wagyu set @ NTD4580 (before extra 10% service fee). The set came with appetizers, side dishes, rice and soup, prawns, scallop and beef tongue. Total of 6 different cut - short rib beef, shoulder marble beef, short rib bone, snow flake, marbled beef, angular cut. Overall service was pretty decent, staffs were pretty attentive when it comes to changing of grill. However due to the nature of the reservation, staffs can be overwhelmed by the crowd.

AMAZING experience at Umai Yakiniku Wenxin Branch! The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and approachable! The ambience of the restaurant is SO awesome !!! Each cut of the meat was sliced perfectly Staff number 03 was so helpful and guided us on the ways to cook the different cuts and which sauces to go with etc. 10/10 would definitely recommend and will certainly come back again when I visit Taichung again!!!! At the end of it, for desserts, they even decorated a thank you note made of powdered sugar(?) which was so THOUGHTFUL and Heartwarming!!!!!!
