This is my second time eating here, the first time was in March this year! That time didn’t make a special impression on me! When I first saw the menu, there were several ingredients that I was not used to. But through Teacher Lin’s hands, every dish makes me have endless aftertaste! The first dish is salted Dongshi oysters Fresh oysters have never been my thing, so this time I ate them all! It has a light sesame oil scent and no fishy smell at all! The second dish is Haiji Abalone and Heparin Noodles Abalone liver is not something I would eat either. This time it was paired with seaweed sauce and there was no fishy smell at all. The third dish is Pomelo Salmon I usually only eat salmon raw! This time the fried salmon is served with yuzu sauce, so it doesn’t taste greasy! The fourth dish is cooked dragon and tiger spot snowflakes. Teacher Lin said that it will start to snow in Hokkaido in autumn, so I made this snowflake boil! Using the sweetness of white radish and the freshness of dragon and tiger spots, it’s really just right! The above dishes all contain ingredients that I’m not used to! The fifth course is seafood Nanzenji Steamed This dish looks a lot like steamed eggs, but it’s actually a tofu dish! Paired with the mustard on top and the seafood inside, it’s just as delicious as the menu says! The sixth course is crispy scallops with porcini mushrooms This dish is more like French cuisine. Give two large scallops at a time and one bite will be very satisfying! The seventh dish is Chinese style chestnut rice I believe many people know the benefits of chestnuts, but only those who have tried this pot of rice cooked with Shaoxing wine will know it! The eighth dish is sakura shrimp majo This fried meatball-like dish with dashi soup is a very Japanese dish! Final dessert truffle ice cream Truffles are made into desserts, something I have never tried before! It has a light truffle aroma (gas flavor), I just love this smell! There happened to be an extra bowl, so of course I ate it It’s hard to objectively judge whether something is delicious or not. I like it very much and feel very impressed that the chefs, Lin Guojun and Cai Zhifan, have been preparing such delicious dishes for us since 9 o’clock in the morning!
