More Comments at Google MapI was lucky to secure a seat at this restaurant without a reservation. My visit happened to fall on a weekday, and I opted for the set menu which included a delightful uni appetizer. The experience was fantastic. One dish that stood out was the salmon roe seafood over rice. What made it truly special was the two ways to enjoy it. Initially, you're encouraged to savor the don as it is, but then you're prompted to set aside about a third of the bowl to combine with their special soup. This combination was simply delicious. Furthermore, the seasonal sake selection was a highlight, particularly on a warm summer night. It offered a refreshing and delightful complement to the meal.
Can never go wrong with a meal here! My favorite comfort dish set - starts with a normal or upgrade sashimi appetizer, then it’s on to the rice bowl eaten two ways 1) eaten with different seafood toppings 2) a hot thick seafood broth added to eat it like an ochazuke. The soupy rice is so soothing to the soul! The set ends with a delicious custard topped with red beans and cereal (which I forgot to take a photo of bc it was so delicious)! I’ve already lost count of how many times I’ve been back at this restaurant! Ps. Insider tip - You can ask for the seafood topping to be chargrilled for an extra umami grill flavoring! Highly recommend!
Tsujihan can be tough to secure a reservation, so I was glad I was able to book it a couple of weeks in advance. The taste of the food was good, not the absolute best I've ever had but certainly not bad. I was impressed by the high-quality ingredients, especially the fresh fish. And, I have to say, the dessert was amazing. All in all, it was a decent dining experience.
