Xinzhuang District, New Taipei City｜潤餅捲 Taiwanese Burrito

Locals will not get into a line without reason. This tiny food cart sells classic Taiwanese street food known as "Run Bing", it might looks like a Mexican burrito but this one is made with lots of mixed vegetable, roast pork and a generous dusting of crushed and roasted peanut powder instead of bean rice and minced pork. Another noticeable difference is the wrapper, normally Taiwanese burrito uses a thin, white in color spring roll wrapper which provides more elastic texture when you bite and less starchy compare with an ordinary tortilla. So many different texture when you bite into it with layers of flavor. Delicious and wallet friendly, only costs NTD $50 per serve, great value for money.
