We love the soy braised pork rice here! The sauce is with soy bean paste added, unique and flavorful. Pickles are nice too, good to eat with rice. The radish soup is cooked for a long time, you can taste the essence of pork ribs and radish from the soy base. Definitely a must-eat soy braised pork rice in Taipei.

Delicious and cheap (though recent price increase as of 8/2020). Braised pork rice lunchbox bento is only NT70 and is a decent portion including whole egg, veggies, pickled veggies, and bean curd. Good stable selection though there are other items also good. Soups should be tried too and are flavorful but I find to be overly cooked. Apparently this place is kind of popular and famous among locals and more people alike. Long waits are getting longer during meal hours. Seating is available both outdoors and indoors but dark, stuffy and a bit not so clean. Still it’s a quick eats and people don’t linger around for chatting (go nearby Starbucks and Louisa Cafe among others). I don’t like the traffic though as this eatery is a roadside stand (be careful if you have kids and waiting on the street).
