Whether you're a connoisseur of the popular and widely varied Taiwanese dish "large intestine thread noodle soup" (大腸麵線) or wanting to expand your local cusine territory, this little whole-in-a-wall is a must. Ever popular with the neighborhood residents, and relatively hidden from the tourist crowd that flood Yong Kong street in the pre-covid days despite having been featured in newspapers, I wondered upon this cozy joint while looking for a good pour-over coffee spot nearby. This joint has only two offerings - the said noodle soup and Taiwanese tempura. I am not living in Taipei, and this is always my first stop whenever I am in the city, and its perfected noodle soup has become the bar for every other place that serves this famed Taiwanese dish.
