West Central District, Tainan City｜黃家鱔魚意麵

I ate here around 00:15 am. Was so hungry. It's hard to order because I don't speak any Mandarin but locals helped me. It was one of the best sticky rice with braised pork I had for just 40NTD.

Ordered the dry noodle instead of the gravy noodle and it tasted sweet(mostly Tainan food taste a little more sweet) and nice, lovely charred flavor. Ordered take away waited about 10 mins.

Amazing value and authentic Tainan taste! Love the dry eel noodles, and the preserved duck tofu and rice cake, although because southern Taiwan cooking style is sweeter I found the sauce to be too sweet for me ~ the aunties who work here collaborate food space between their stalls and are all so friendly and chatty! A great late night option and definitely coming back whenever in Tainan next ♡
