This is a purist squid place. Dish is very simple. You get to taste and feel the texture of the squid slices here, which is super "crisp". May not be suitable for people who like heavy taste with a lot of seasoning on the squid. The soup is quite heavy on MSG.

I gave this store 5 points only because the highest score can only be given to 5 points. The difference between this store and other stores can be seen from the number of people in the queue alone. After waiting for 40 minutes, there was still an endless stream of people behind us. The people in line circled the storefront for a full circle. The soup is clear but delicious enough, and the small rolls themselves are fresh and springy enough, very, very delicious. Words can't describe this feeling, but when I took the first sip of the soup, I knew this restaurant was a godsend.

Lineup may seem long but goes by really quickly. They have an efficient system where one person in your party stays in line to order while the rest of the party will take a seat. Squid noodles were DELICUOUS. Soup was a little too sweet for my taste but the squid was cooked to a perfect texture that was chewy yet springy at the same time. Noodles were "Al dente". The flavor was so simple, nothing too salty or overpowering but yet gives you such a warm feeling inside. Perfect for a hot day. I could have eaten 3 bowls! $80 per bowl.
