Hands-down the best place to get sushi in Chiayi (maybe even Taiwan!). Ever since moving to Taiwan 11 months ago, I have frequented this restaurant at least once a week. It is my go-to meal for any and every occasion. Upon having brought several friends here, they have also come to the conclusion that this restaurant has some of the best sushi/sashimi in Taiwan. As an avid sushi fan coming from New York, I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and price of the sushi here. The salmon sashimi in particular are some of the freshest, fattiest, and thickest slices I’ve ever had. Other delicious dishes include the fried fish fillet (comes with sweet and sour sauce), scallop sushi, fried tofu, and much more. Nothing in the US can beat the price-quality ratio of this restaurant! The service here is impeccable too! After coming here a couple times, they always remembered my order and really made Taiwan feel like a second home. I loved the atmosphere and will forever remember the employees as key parts of my experience here in Taiwan. I will miss them!
