Inspired by the photos on Facebook, I came to eat goose meat that I have long admired. There is always a long queue at this store, and today it just happens to be opening. (But there are already people waiting in line) First reveal the price: goose leg $110, bamboo shoot soup $20 Yes, a big bowl of bamboo shoot soup is only $20! ! ! Full of bamboo shoots! ! ! And this soup should not be seasoned at all, the natural umami of goose soup, the saltiness and sourness of dried bamboo shoots + sauerkraut pull out rich layers. ("Sauerkraut and stuffed bamboo shoots" is a common New Year dish and banquet dish for Hakka people) As for the goose meat, it is soft and tender and melts in the mouth. After it is cooked, only a thin layer of salt is applied on the skin. It is completely authentic, and it is perfect with freshly cut ginger! ! The thick hot bean sprouts on the bottom of the plate are just the size of a serving of hot green vegetables, with balanced nutrition. (It is said that the owner is from Taichung, so he named it Taichung Goose Meat. The taste is really central and northern. I really like it and miss it!)
