This is the best spring onion cake I have ever tried! Don’t miss it if you are in Jiaoxi! The cook weighs the dough to make sure every piece has the right proportion of dough and filling.

OMG. Seriously the best spring onion pie I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried many). Crispy on the outside, bursting with juicy spring onion inside. I stumbled upon this place when I saw a few people waiting. Very nice owners too. They may not have the hype that some of the other spring onion pie stalls in Jiaoxi have simply due to media exposure, but it should! I wish I could have these pockets of deliciousness in NYC.

The green onions are plump and fragrant, and the excess oil is soaked up with paper. It tastes delicious.
