Wasn't feeling particularly hungry, so ordered the xiaren geng (shrimp paste soup) for here and lurofan and zhujiao (minced pork rice and pork knuckle chops) for takeaway. Same authentic flavours as I remembered in childhood. I also just love getting a bar seat and watching the chef chop away. It's the right combination of chaos and harmony.

One of the representative stalls of Keelung Night Market, the taste has never changed from snack to snack! The pig's feet are chewy and not greasy, which is in sharp contrast to the sticky and soft pork rice. Whether it is feet or hoof meat, the price of a cut is about 100. Shrimp soup has always had a subtle, rustic texture. I don’t know why, but it’s a special feature. It tastes good~ I have the impression that after the old boss has finished processing the customers' orders, he will hold a cigarette and look thoughtfully into the distance, enjoying his own peace in the noisy environment around him.
