Beitun District, Taichung City｜阿舍豬血湯

One of my long-term favorite breakfast shops in Beitun which opens around 5AM, makes a pork offal soup that makes me weep every time I visit. The owners are a sweet and wonderful couple who prepare the soup fresh daily and without MSG. There's stomach, intestines, upper mouth, trachea, aorta, tongue, and liver, and you add your own garlic, chives, ginger, bean sprouts, chili sauce, salty greens, and broth to your choice of meats. Make sure to also order a bowl of fried noodles as they are totally scrumptious. NT60.
