Zhongli District, Taoyuan City｜奇蹟小屋港式美食餐廳

On a trip to Taoyuan to visit family, this place was a pleasant surprise. My family and I are originally from Hong Kong, and we were excited to find a place that served “traditional” Hong Kong diner food. The owner and his family are also from Hong Kong and know how to make some good food. We came here numerous times during our stay in Taoyuan, sometimes two times a day for tea and a snack. Everything is made from scratch, including the delicious egg tarts. You’ll find staples like baked spaghetti and pork chops with tomato sauce, thick French toast, fish balls, and char siu over rice. Everything we ate was amazing, and the flavors were reminiscent of a Hong Kong that is slowly fading. The HK milk tea was full of flavor. Our food and drinks took a little bit of time, but they have a smaller kitchen, and they take time to prepare the food so it all comes out delicious. Service was kind. We cannot wait to come back again the next time we are in Taoyuan!
