Sanxia District, New Taipei City｜滬苑小館

Great Shanghainese restaurant in Sanxia — there were a few comments that said their portions are really tiny, but I thought the portion was perfect! The flavors and ingredients are both phenomenal. If you're a fan of rice cakes, make sure to get their Chinese cabbage rice cake, and if you like oyster, make sure to get their fried fritter oyster!

We are pleasantly surprised with the quality of this Shanghainese restaurant. This is far from the metropolitan center of Taipei and thus it was a surprise find. We liked the steamed dumplings very much. Other dishes are good also. Yes, the portion was relatively small, but that suited us three ok as we could try more varieties.

Reasonable Shanghainese food and good prices. Maybe not as authentic Shanghainese as people might expect, but their take on it was still very tasty.
