Very hospitable service and good portion of food. Have tasted a better udon elsewhere, so my personal recommendation is go for the cold tororo ramen that come with unique yam & yolk mix👏👏

I was so lucky to have soba while watching the snow outside the window. The overall atmosphere blends in well with the snow-capped mountains that look out the window. In my opinion, eating soba while watching the autumn leaves would be a great experience. The texture of the soba was very satisfying and I had a good balance of crispy texture and taste of the tempura. The freshwater fish tempura was very tasty, contrary to my expectation that it would be fishy. I will come back here the next time I come to Jozankei.

Staff are sweet and nice though we don’t speak Japanese. Good fresh food with great people. This is Japan!
