Top notch local yakuniku restaurant away from all the crazy tourist areas. Great selection of meat and booze at affordable prices. Atmosphere is great with local Japanese low seats and best of all it’s a charcoal grill which beats any gas grill and the exhaust works fantastic so no smelly clothes or hair after dinner! All round fantastic food and fun. Highly recommended.

We loved it! The service was great, the meat was amazing!! They had computer tablets on the table where u could select English and order food and drinks as u go. Our kids loved the whole process of sitting on the floor and shoes off to dine. And the pricing is very affordable in my opinion, we ate like kings!! Would absolutely return when we are next in Sapporo, and will recommend to others. The waitresses asked if they could get a photo with us when we left, I’m not sure why, perhaps they don’t get many Aussie’s in there, but we were happy to oblige.

First night in Sapporo. Our flight got delayed and only got time for dinner after 8pm. All restaurants nearby our hotel are full! Great thanks finally accepted by Mikakuen from 9pm, and super delicious grilled meat. We ordered the buffet menu with 2 hours at priced of less than 30 dollars. Yummy!
