Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan｜Yakiniku Bar Tamura

Prior to coming to Sapporo, I did a lot of research and read lots of reviews for the best places to eat quality wagyu beef. The restaurant is located in a commercial office tower on the 3rd floor of Akarenga Terrace. Yakiniku offered one of the best lunch sets that includes: 3 slices of A-5 wagyu beef, 3 slices of thinly sliced salmon, a few pieces of pork, a piece of fish, some veggies, miso soup and a dessert for about 2000 Y. If you want to try different A-5 cuts, order the premium A-5 wagyu beef set for about 5000 Y, which allows you to sear on the grill at your table. Yakiniku serves very good quality wagyu and taste very good that melts instantly in your mouth. The price is a bit expensive for a few pieces of beef but for the quality of it I would highly recommend to come and eat here still. We were the first customer that walked in at 11am and took the window seat that overlooked Hokkaido University botanic gardens. The staff are nice and helpful but don’t expect them to fully understand English, simple communication is the most effective way to get by. Other than language barrier, the meals are served quickly.

The restaurant that you can eat 5A wague. The mood, staffs, the quality of meat are all good. I want to go again.
