Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan｜Teshikaga Ramen

Spicy miso ramen at Ramen Yokocho (Ramen alley). They take orders with a self-order machine. Customers just order and pay, then give the chef a ticket and wait. No need many waitresses. Free iced drinking water on the table. You can ask for a fork. Apron is provided on the table, too. The noodle is like thick egg noodle. How spicy? 3 from 100. 😄 The soup is full of flavor likely to be salty as Japanese ramen is. And it's really hot til you finish it... be careful.

The food was absolutely fantastic. Definitely get the miso ramen, the corn and Butter were fantastic. Add an egg to the soup, half is included but trust me you will want more. The shop was very welcoming, the ramen was fresh and delicious with extra vegetables that added brightness and sweetness in a savory broth.

I am currently on my first trip in Japan for my honeymoon, and this was the first stop on our ramen tour of Sapporo. I have to say, I will never look at ramen back at home (USA) the same way again. The bite of the noodles was perfect, the miso broth— incredible, and the meat (pork and venison) was perfectly cooked. 10/10
