Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan｜Sapporo Junren

I really wanted to try authentic hokkaido miso ramen during my first trip :) The line looks long but they serve people quickly. Miso ramen had lovely balanced flavors (the butter was so good with hints iof fresh ginger). The egg was soft and yummy and mini chashu is good too~

First time enjoying miso ramen in Hokkaido. Fabulously intense and deep umami broth, the wibbily yellow-orange noodles had the right amount of bite and chewiness. Note, the broth is oily, which means it retains a lot of heat - be mindful not to burn your mouth on the first delicious slurp! Typical vending machine ordering and the expectation that you eat and leave promptly. Arrived around 1pm on a weekday and queued in line for about 25 minutes.
