Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan｜Sapporo Ramen Haruka

I had an amazing experience here. We came at prime dinner time and waited around 1.5 hours for a seat. The chef was working the entire restaurant by himself and he still made every bowl of ramen and soup broth one by one. I ordered the cheese ramen and it was the best cheese ramen I’ve ever had in my life! The cheese was not overly heavy and the soup broth had a peppery taste that complemented it so well. I rarely finish all my ramen soup broths but I did for this one. I wish I had more time because I would absolutely visit again!!

I was here on a Monday afternoon so it was not crowded and the service was quick. The menu is provided in English and Japanese via QR code and is also used for placing the order, which is very convenient especially if you don't speak Japanese. I had the standard Miso ramen (+Egg) which were delicious and suited my taste.

Noticed the long line here yesterday and decided to give it a try. Small shop with 8 seats. Had a wonderful meal. Arrived about 11:30am and he (one man shop; friendly and efficient) opened early at 11:45🙂 Using the QR code system...very efficient...had the regular size garlic Miso Ramen with extra char siu, egg and wood ear mushrooms, with corn on the side. Delicious. I thought it was a good value at ¥1,600 total. I was seated at the counter across from entrance and had a great view of him cooking. Highly recommended.
