The curry miso soup is impressing us, rice is free in the lunch, their cha chu is super heavy but amazing! We will come back twice once we are in Sapporo

My favourite ramen in the whole of Japan! I love this place. Get the ichi-no-tora, that’s the stronger flavoured soup, with an extra slice of the delicious, soft and buttery char shu that just melts when you eat it. You can up the spice level, but I find that it’s just chili oil and it then masks the flavours of the soup itself. The noodles are chewy and delicious. The owner always says hi when I go in despite moving from the area many years ago…..he still remembers that I don’t like menma and I usually get an extra slice of char shu. Brilliant!

My boyfriend looked like he had a great time eating ramen. As a coeliac I couldn’t eat, but the staff let me sit in the corner and gave me a glass of water.
