A direct branch of Kato Ramen, a famous long-established noodle shop in Asahikawa, this is a rare restaurant in Sapporo where you can enjoy authentic Asahikawa ramen. The ramen is characterized by a very mellow finish with a strong pork bone flavor, and the soy sauce ramen's ``double soup'' of pork bone and seafood went perfectly with the low-hydration medium-thin curly noodles. Even after it cooled down, it didn't have any sharp edges at all, and I was able to enjoy it to the last drop ^^ Although it is stated on the menu, there will be an additional charge if you order something different from normal, such as strong flavor or hardened noodles. The noodles are soft by default, so this may be a matter of personal preference. The atmosphere is that of a popular ramen shop, and the good thing about it is that the interior and customer service are unadorned, making it very easy to enter. The only thing that was strange was the many anime stickers displayed inside the store. What was that?

I couldn't find any other stores that were open, so I called just before the last order to confirm that they were taking orders and came to the store. The inside of the store was unique with various otaku goods and posters. I have a hunch that this is probably his son(?)'s hobby. The ramen was reasonably priced, delicious, and a good amount. There is space to park about 2 cars outside the parking lot, but it's a little difficult because it faces an intersection. If you are not confident, look for another parking lot nearby. Even customers who came after the last order were seated, so I felt that the owner was very generous.

Very delicious old-fashioned Asahikawa ramen. I often ask for soy sauce and salt. It's not a recent thick soup with a lot of oil, so it doesn't make your stomach heavy. I will go again.
