More Comments at Google MapJust Wow!!!!! Literally everything was delicious! The plates kept getting better and better! We were the only foreigners in there at the time and Yuka explained everything well! She helped us out a lot and we had a great conversation! And the food was amazing! I went to a a few Wagyu restaurants in Tokyo and by far this was my favorite! The Beef Stew was so rich and flavorful! I bought some for take away!!! The beef was Kobe and included certificate.
I am, just, WOW! Really, truly, amazing. I have a high bar for food and the chef here exceeded all expectations and beyond. The staff where so attentive that I had to be wary of simple gestures as any signs of discomfort would be immediately addressed. The chef Haruka Katayanagi is truly an artisan and a master of his craft. The meat you could cut with a spoon and the dishes were fit for the french aristocracy. The sauces make you take pause and appreciate the nuance and dynamic flavors that would be a cacophonous mixture if handled by a lesser chef, but through the composure of Haruka Katayanagi a beautiful symphony for the senses unfolds. The smells, tastes, everything, were wonderful in the truest sense of the word. My only gripe is this place ruined steak everywhere else by pulling the bar so high. Amazing food and great dining experience! It's our second time to dine at Oniku Karyu. The new location in Ginza is very convenient, the service is great, very welcoming and professional , will dedinately recommend to all our family and friends visiting Tokyo.
