Shinjuku City, Tokyo, Japan｜Chōshunkan

This restaurant was recommended to us from a bartender when we asked him where "The best grilled meat in Shinjuku is." He was spot on. The restaurant is accommodating in size and had nice large tables and prompt and efficient service. They were closing in 30 minutes when we walked in. We were not aware and apologized and went to leave and were encouraged to stay and enjoy our time if we felt we could do so in half an hour. We were delighted and grateful for the opportunity. Highly recommend this restaurant.

English menu is available (just ask the staff). They do speak a little English but very friendly and helpful. The meat is superb! The quality, the texture and the tenderness. I will definitely come back when next time I'm in Japan.

3 meat deal, amazing beef, enjoy our dinner. Not recommend their cheapest beef, start with the second cheapest you will have a great experience. Really nice bean and chilly sauce
