Toshima City, Tokyo, Japan｜yakiniku

OK, so this one is not a cheap eat. But to us, a young couple from extortionate London, it was brilliant value for money and a lot of fun. We arrived without a reservation at 8pm and were surprised that they has a beautiful private room for us. We ordered the 90 minute all-you-can-eat yakiniku deal, which is ¥3,500 per person plus tax. And a couple of whiskies. They fired up the grill built into our table and brought us a very impressive looking plate of raw meat, including some of the most buttery, marbled beef I've ever tasted. We cooked and at the first plate very quickly and then began ordering and ordering from the extensive menu. There are very few limits on what you're allowed to order in the time limit, so as long as you finish your food you can really feast on incredible cuts of beef, pork, chicken and all the great side dishes they offer. A great choice for a fun, authentic feeling experience.

Very friendly staff, delicious food, and modern interior. Having come from the USA, it was not as spacious as the restaurants in the USA. But the restaurant was very clan and well organized, and most importantly the food was fantastic. We (7 people occupying two tables) all enjoyed it, and we will definitely come back if we visit Tokyo again.
