In Ikebukuro, there are many Korean BBQ restaurants near the main station. We chose this particular restaurant as it was in a quieter area and nearer to Eisei Stay, where we stayed for 5 nights. There's another restaurant just across the road from this, but we chose this as it seemed to have a more friendly atmosphere. Indeed, their customers were families with children as well as school kids. One disappointment was the lack of an English menu and we had to resort to using Google to translate. But the service crew were patient and polite in assisting us each time we wanted to place an order. We ordered the 3900yen buffet per person and were delighted with the amount of choices. The varieties of beef were more than enough for us, and the chicken was surprisingly good. The kimchi and salad were marvelous too. This restaurant uses a real charcoal stove and it brings a little smoky taste to the food. I wished I had more space for the seafood pancake which the neighbour table ordered. It looked really big and thick. Definitely value for money! Surprisingly the dinner crowd started to thin out before 9pm even though it closes at around 11pm. We'll definitely be back here when we next visit Ikebukuro.

The meat is delicious, the business is very good, and online booking is convenient. It’s worth a visit~
