Very good beef bowl! Had a simple menu with pictures once you get to the counter to order and pay. The line is not too bad, looks very long but takes only about 30 minutes. They do close 2 days of the week and early, watch the opening time so you are not disappointed. I saw this place last time I was in Japan 8 years ago, but my stomach is too full to try. I'm very glad I tried it this time. The beef bowl is very good. They give you free glass of ice tea, which I appreciate very much. I think they purposely slow down the ordering and getting food process a little, and it made sure there is always a spot for you to eat at the standing table or seat down bar area. They made the rice a little harder so it wouldn't get too soggy from the beef sauce. Loved the beef bowl, worth the wait to try.

Extremely popular. Basically only 1 thing on the menu which is the beef bowl which cost 800 yen. You’ll find the snaking queue from across the pavement; we queued for over 30 mins on a Thursday . But the gyudon was indeed very tasty and flavourful Recommend you don’t have one bowl each, so you still have appetite to try other things at tsukiji

Can you imagine what a delicious bowl of beef tripe rice could bring you for a perfect start to the day? Get in line before 8 o'clock in the morning, and you will know what I am talking about. The proper flavoring with generous portions of the meat, paired with a proper bottle of beer, what more could you ask for?
