I heard from an acquaintance that the seafood here is delicious, so I visited Isaribi around 18:30. I have visited the cafe over on the first floor of this building several times, but this is the first time. There was a couple of customers in the store that went down the stairs and entered the store. Since I was alone, I was guided to the back of the counter. I ordered 8 slices of sashimi directly from Kochi for 980 yen (excluding tax), and Iwate Akatake Sake Brewery's Junmai Hiyaoroshi Akatake Ichigo (950 yen). This includes a seafood salad appetizer for 400 yen. I also asked for 580 yen for grilled pepper sea bream. Two slices each of pepper sea bream, sea bream, wild amberjack, and grilled grunt. The plate is also clean, so the white fish shines. All of them were fresh, but the pepper sea bream was the best among them. The natural amberjack was also delicious. This is served with Akatake's Junmai Hiyaoroshi, which is dry, refreshing and refreshing. I was the only one at the counter, so I started talking with the master about various things. Since he is from Susaki, he said that he can get fresh seafood from Kochi. When I broke the pepper sea bream bite on the way, the bite was too big and it seemed difficult to insert my teeth. After a while, kamayaki was served on a platter. It's nice to have a plate as well. This is a great value kamayaki for a big show. Perfect for sipping together with local sake. We also had a rare local sake special Honjozo from Yamagata Takagi Sake Brewery for 900 yen for Juyondai. Finally, we had squid and mushrooms fried in butter and soy sauce for 780 yen, and for 5040 yen, we enjoyed delicious seafood with local sake at a reasonable price.

I was so absorbed in eating it that I forgot to take a picture, but it was seriously delicious. I think the sashimi is a little aged, like you would find at a high-end sushi restaurant, rather than just fresh, but it has a rich flavor. The boiled fish was perfectly cooked, soft and fluffy, and had just the right flavor without being too salty. They also have a good selection of alcoholic beverages, so you can be sure of whatever you order.

I went for the omakase course on the day, and it was delicious and voluminous for the price. The staff's customer service is also good. Next time I would like to order various items instead of just a course.
