I had been interested in this store for a while, so I went there today by walking from Nagayama Station. About 10 minutes from Nagayama. Instead of ponpoko tanuki udon, I had gravy udon with kakiage. You can choose between 200g, 300g, and 400g of udon noodles for 720 yen, so of course I chose 400g. It was delicious, but I think it's a good deal to get change for 1000 yen with kakiage❗️ Added a photo of zenzai 😃✌️

I went here after 11 o'clock on weekdays within walking distance. One group of first customers entered two groups before leaving the store. I ordered "Yokubari Udon", which is limited to 10 meals a day, and my husband ordered "Tsukeru Meat Udon". Yokubari udon was written as 150g or 300g on the menu, but 200g was also possible. When you take a sip of the udon, the aroma of the dashi stock will flow through your nostrils, making you extremely happy. The kakiage is large and difficult to cut with chopsticks, so I ate a large portion. I can feel the sweetness of the onions. The tsuyu (dipping sauce) of the meat udon is rather thick, but it comes with udon yu (maybe?), so you can enjoy the delicious tsuyu until the very end. My husband doesn't usually eat udon, but he likes ponpoko. There is a slope from Nagayama station and it's a little far, but it's worth going. The quiet BGM and the store clerk are also calm and relaxing space. Simple handmade cookies are also delicious. A shop I want to go to 10 or 20 years from now.
