More Comments at Google MapShowa style restaurant This is a long-established restaurant located along a fairly wide street with a Showa era atmosphere. Inside the restaurant, there are only table seats for 4 people and 2 people, so not many people can fit inside. We don't offer shared seating, so even if there is a customer sitting in a four-seater table, there are waiting chairs against the wall, so you can sit and wait until one becomes available. The menu is extensive. Order rice and miso soup separately. There are also large, medium, and small rice sizes. Miso soup also comes in pork soup, shijimi soup, and nameko soup. For now, I ordered a hamburger with egg, rice and miso soup. Chilled water with pickles and seasoned seaweed is self-serve. There is a pot of roasted green tea and a tea bowl on the table. The hamburger eggs were delicious and had the taste of an old diner. Payment is in cash only. There were many colored papers of famous people on display.
The picture is a fried horse mackerel set meal. It's an extensive menu. The staff was friendly and the food was delicious.
After watching a TV drama about a shaggy detective, I learned that this shop actually existed and decided to visit it. I arrived before the store opened and was waiting in front of the store when the owner greeted me with a cheerful greeting, "Sorry to have kept you waiting!" I quickly went inside and looked at the menu... There are so many that I worry lol So I ordered the tonkatsu set meal that was featured in many of your photos. I was worried because I was told that the rice was a bit on the average side, but when the hostess said, ``You can eat it because it comes with egg!'' I said, ``Okay, let's have some.'' lol ``If you come out and there are a lot of them, please go!'' she kindly said. A few people came in shortly after I entered, and they seemed to be regulars and knew how to order. I watched with sparkling eyes as regular customers customized their single items, beer, and miso soup to nameko soup. Now, the tonkatsu set meal came before me. Yeah. That’s a lot of food lol But if a woman doesn't finish what is served, she will become obsolete. (fat style) First, I had a bite of tonkatsu while eating cabbage. "Quick" (Wow, delicious) It's crispy and there are no weird streaks left, so you can bite into it cleanly. The bottom side was a little moist due to the water from the cabbage, but that's a charm. It was delicious and I could eat more and more. As others have said, the miso soup has just the right amount of seasoning and is delicious. Is happy…. When the tonkatsu was in its last spurt, the eggs finally appeared. Add soy sauce and mix. Turn it on for rice. Is happy…. After eating everything, I left the restaurant feeling soothed by the cheerful owner and the kind proprietress, and feeling so happy. I would like to try a different menu next time. thank you very much. I'll visit you again.
