More Comments at Google MapI love this bun. We only sell mitarashi, but if you order it, it will be grilled for you so you can eat it warm. The mitarashi bean paste has just the right amount of seasoning and is really delicious! The other thing is Chestnut Manju called Kuri Matsuri. I like that too. But I feel like I'm just going for the mitarashi dango.
Aokiya always caught my attention every time I passed by on my bicycle. Finally, the timing was right and I was able to visit. Since it is a new store, the inside of the store is very clean and has a space that is easy to see. After entering the store, you can sample soft serve ice cream, dorayaki, and tea! ! (lol) I was surprised that they even served a portion for my child, but I was very happy and enjoyed it deliciously (^ ^) The soft serve ice cream was not very sweet, but it was quite rich (it was hard due to the high milk fat content). It seems that the dorayaki is also made in the store that morning. The sweetness of the red bean paste was exquisite and it was very moist. There's an eat-in space, so it's a good place to take a short break. There were many types of sweets, but they also sell them in small portions, so this time I decided to try out a few different ones. The staff at the store were kind and helpful, and I would like to visit again.
Each dango costs 100 yen, and they are crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, making them very filling. A cup of tea is included, so even those who don't drink coffee can enjoy the cafe atmosphere. In the first place, when you enter the store, you will be served tea and sweets, so you can be satisfied with just one skewer of dango for 100 yen, and it is a great value for money. Aokiya Blend, which will satisfy even coffee lovers, is low cost at 300 yen, which would be around 500 yen at a coffee specialty store. If you don't have enough money, you can buy Japanese sweets in the store. It's a very convenient and nice place. It's a really nice store, with an excellent sense of cleanliness and excellent customer service from the staff. If you go in the evening, you will often find that the dumplings are sold out. We recommend arriving relatively early.
