One of the best and authentic izakaya I have ever been. The staff is very kind and you can feel the typical atmosphere of these kind of places. The food is very good and cheap.

I visited the store 2 weeks ago. The manager remembered me and welcomed me with a smile. I wonder if there are two options: the store is full or empty, and the location is also good? I think. It's a very easy-to-go store, even for foreigners, as they wait patiently and ask, ``What do you want?'' I visited at 8:30 pm, just before closing time. I thought it would be difficult for two people, a man and a woman, to enter, but when I entered, the owner greeted me with a lovely smile. We had quite a bit of food and drink, and at 6,600 yen, it was a great value for money! The atmosphere of the store was also great! This is a restaurant where you can have fun alone or with your partner. Whale meat and skewers are extremely delicious. I wanted to order rock oysters, but they don't have them this time, but they do have them on weekends! That's what I was told. I definitely want to go this weekend.

Although it is inconvenient to transfer between Shin-Akitsu Station on the JR Musashino Line and Akitsu Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line, there are a variety of shops between these two stations, even though they are in a residential area, making it exciting just to walk around. Salaryman is an izakaya located right in front of Shin-Akitsu Station and is always crowded. You might think this is a restaurant filled with older people, but there are also a lot of female customers, and everyone is enjoying their drinks and snacks to their heart's content. When you order fish, it is fresh and comes out fairly quickly. There's also seared horse mackerel and seasonal fish sashimi, so you'll be spoiled for choice. The grilled food is grilled over charcoal by experienced craftsmen, and is delicious and available for takeout. The meat tofu, which is probably the signature menu item, has a light taste, but the meat is well-cooked and the tofu is soft and flavorful, and the alcohol goes well with it. There are craftsmen who handle the fresh fish, so the freshness is perfect! It's a really fun bar that's always busy.
