Kokubunji, Tokyo, Japan｜Rokuzaemon

We all know what Kamameshi is like, but very few restaurants serve it. Rokuzaemon is one of such places. I recommend international guests to stop by and enjoy the depth of Kamameshi here 🙂

It was my first time going there, and it was surprisingly crowded, but there were only two of us, so they showed us around early at the counter. I ordered the oyster kamameshi, and it was topped with oysters and shiitake mushrooms and was very delicious! The service also served quail boiled eggs and it was very delicious! Also, I thought the customer service was great as they answered all my questions! I want to go again!

The whole family is a fan of Rokuzaemon😊 I love everything from skewers to kamameshi to alcohol! Due to the coronavirus pandemic, it feels spacious, but I want to eat in a small space again soon. My only regret is that the garden has become smaller due to the addition of a parking lot. Absolutely delicious!
