More Comments at Google MapI was kind of surprised at all of the negative reviews on this ramen shop because I really enjoyed it. The broth was very flavorful, the noodles were cooked well, and there was a ridiculous amount of meat. I probably wouldn't come straight back here because I'd like to try different shops on ramen street, but this was very good.
The best ramen we had in Tokyo. This was our second trip to Ramen Street and we waited on line for about 5min. We decided to go all out and try three different types of ramen. We ordered #1 Tonkotsu, #4 Dandan, and #6 Spicy Tsukemen. All three were great, very rich broth, great meat and toppings and the noodles were very tasty. Our favorite was #4 and it was also the first truly spicy broth we had. The pork was sweet but also falling apart and the medium thick noodles were ideal to pick up the broth. Our next favorite was the Tonkotsu which was rich, creamy, and very well balanced the chashu was the best we had so far and the only negative was the ultra thin noodles - I would have enjoyed a slightly thicker cut. This was the first time we had Tsukemen style ramen and while tasty I don’t think we will order again. I just don’t enjoy having to struggle to transfer the noodles from one dish to another, plus the dipping ingredients are served cold. This dish, however, had the best noodles. I wish we could return but alas there are so many more places to try.
Delicious ramen, with thick broth and a lot of meat. Friendly staff helped us order. I recommend!
