Food was exceptional. I with there were more toppings. I got there 15 min before they opened and they opened about 5 min past their stated opening time. I was one of the first 7 folks as the shop only has 7 stools. Noodles and broth are as good as it gets but just wish they had options for more toppings. Broth was amazing and the chunks of pork were fantastic. I think the egg could of been slightly better done. Old school ticketing system for ordering. Shop only had two employees, one making noodles/pork and the other one handling broth. Despite finishing it all, the extra large portion was too big. I do not recommend it unless you have a huge appetite.

【Cash only】 Delicious and thick broth for tsukemen. My very first tsukemen and it’s very very good. Noodles were on the hard/chewy side which is just my preference. Pork chashu slices are cooked tender and melts right in the mouth. In the tsukemen dipping sauce, there are also huge chunks of meat. Really really great place. We were lucky when we arrived and there was only one person in the queue ahead of us. The restaurant only has 7 seats so be prepared for a wait. Prices range from about 1000-1200yen but the portion is really big. We’ll definitely visit again in the future! Do give it a try if you’re in the Ginza area.

I went there when I first came to Japan in November last year, and I still visit occasionally. A long-established shop recommended by a friend, the products are stable and delicious. It’s also a fish dish, and the saltiness is well controlled. It doesn’t get saltier the more you eat it like ordinary tsukemen (like a lamp next door) I have brought Japanese friends to visit many times and will visit from time to time in the future. The only drawback is probably the queues during peak hours.
