More Comments at Google MapVery good ramen based on yakiago flying fish broth. Perfect on a cool and rainy day in fall. Maybe due to the rain, there was only a short line at 11.30 on a public holiday. Inside seating for 11 customers. You order via vending machine ticket, buy before you enter the store. The store is tiny and has a lot of atmosphere, very smooth operations and charming welcome and good bye flows. You get a little dashi while you wait for your meal. The ramen broth was rich, the noodles had a nice slightly irregular flat shape, the menma was of high quality and the meat (2 kinds in the basic version, thicker slice and thinly sliced) is extremely well prepared - I don't order for the meat as such and am ready to leave it aside unless it's really good, but much appreciate a well prepared meat elements like here.
This is a very popular ramen restaurant. Every time we walked past, there is always a queue and a very long one during peak hours. We came for a late night meal and there was still a queue. We waited in line for about 15 minutes. In the end, we got our ramen and it was so delicious! Highly recommended!
Was seated very quickly as my family and I were willing to be seated separately. First you have to order at the vending machine outside and pay first before you queue, and someone will be out regularly to check on the queue and seat you ASAP. We all got the "Yakiago Salty Ramen" with rice. Would have loved to try the soy sauce one as well, it looked really delicious. But the Yakiago Salty Ramen was excellent. The texture of the noodles were fantastic, thick with a little bit of a chewiness to them - not too chewy! The meat was also cooked so perfectly, and it was tender. When you are seated, they will give you a little cup of the original broth for you to try. It is so light and at the same time flavourful. Everything that I ate here was absolutely delightful. The best ramen that I've tried thus far here in Japan.
