Matsudo, Chiba, Japan｜Ramen Tomita

This was my second visit to the legendary Tomita. Without question my favourite tsukemen and ramen in general. The different preparations of pork each had their own texture and flavour profiles that made each bite in combination with the noodles a new experience. The noodles themselves have the perfect chew to allow the flavour of the tsukemen broth to develop and persist with each bite. My friend and I also had a great conversation with the chef himself after our meal I booked through the Omakase app.

This is not a food review! I was just keen to find the store on a bike ride. Easy to find from Matsudo station. The shop is down a back street. The front of the shop is clean, and looks professional. The menu looks amazing! So, i hope to visit oneday!

Tomita is just so good! I think the KITTE branch of Tomita will serve you well enough when you are craving a solid tsukemen bowl. However, if you are trying Tomita for the first time, please do yourself a favor by going to the main shop here. The online reservation system is very straightforward so you won't have to come early like in the past to get a ticket. You need to be ready at noon every Tuesday to reserve a slot for that week on Omakase so make sure your internet is stable 😆
