Great shoyu (soya sauce based) ramen with noticeable pepper flavour. I liked it, one of the better shoyu ramen I've tasted. No frills traditional restaurant with attentive service that offers a single page English menu. Great gyoza dumplings too. They don't speak English and that may be why some reviews say they are not friendly. I recommend the chashu ramen with tomato gyoza/dumplings and a cold draft beer.
This was our first Japanese food experience in Japan after arriving hungry and tired after the long flight. We have been wanting to try ramen and soba for so long, and we did not regret it. The food was made super fast, they had an English menu brought to us, and the beer was cold. We also had the pork dumplings which were the best dumplings I’ve ever tasted 😍 we were so pleased to eat her.
