More Comments at Google MapBy far one of the top ramen, if not the best I had in fours weeks in Japan. The soy broth was incredible. The flavors were quite complexe and balanced. Could not say what it was made of, but I very much liked it. The meat was absolutely incredible (fatty and melt in your mouth). One of the best noodle I had. But my favorite aspect of the dish was the little surprised here and there in the broth, like a fig jam and a balsamic creme (I think?). I crazy that such a dish cost only 2000y. Something similar would probably cost about 60-80$ back in Canada. We arrived at 11h35 on a saturday and there was no line, but the was about 20 people waiting when we were leaving. But I assure you, it's worth the wait. I had the side of wagyu sukiyaki (wagyu/uni/rice/eggs) and it was ABSOLUTELY worth the 800y. Umami bomb !!!
First ramen shop to receive a Michelin star and it’s worth a stop. There was a wait and there’s a few chairs to wait in. It’s in the lower level so there is a steep incline of stairs. If you come here, the shoyu ramen is the most famous bowl to order due to where the soy sauce is sourced and its aging process. The biggest selling point is the umami and it definitely is sometime to have at least once. (You might have read about their truffle ramen online when you research the place but unfortunately they no longer make it.) This ramen shop has table service and is cashless so bring a credit card. You can make reservations in advance but there is a reservation fee and a hefty cancellation fee. I did not make a reservation. The prices are significantly higher than what you would find at other ramen shops. It appears the prices have increased since the pandemic. Some diners had a full luncheon and some where there solely to eat ramen and leave. So I’m guessing the wait times can differ based on the crowd they receive.
This place is wonderful as they say "welcome to the wonderful land" The truffle's taste really goes with ramen. I was there for lunch on a weekday and didn't need to wait in line. The atmosphere is good and the service is perfect
