New Star, a store near the Odakyu/Komae station where you can enjoy traditional Western food starting with Akahoshi, is truly New Star, loved by the locals, especially Red Star☆ I arrived at my destination, Komae Shokudo New Star, in less than a minute after leaving the south exit of the station. The store is on the 2nd floor up the stairs, but there is a large signboard on the 1st floor, and it's along the street in front of the station, so you don't have to worry about getting lost. As soon as I entered the store, my companion was already on standby. The interior of the restaurant is large enough to accommodate about 5.60 people (on one floor), and there are counters and tables, and some of the customers are families. The customer base is wide-ranging, with students coming by themselves for a set meal for dinner, and couples enjoying a drink and snacks, with an overwhelming majority of the customers being locals. These days there are fewer and fewer shops that are loved by a wide range of local people, so this is a very valuable shop! Moreover, the staff will come to you to take your order in traditional kappo clothes♬ Our staff is a cute girl, about the size of Hatachi, but she looks great in kappo clothes. Three old men happily ordered multiple bottles of Akaboshi lol As it is a set meal restaurant, the menu is extensive. Being able to enjoy this kind of menu both during the day and at night is a delight for older men who like lunch, and I definitely want to visit for lunch next time!
