Great izakaya right by Kogenei station! The staff is so kind and helpful - there was no English menu and the menu is handwritten - the waitress helped us find recommendations and was so kind and accommodating! We loved the sushi, cheese tofu, and the salad! The atmosphere was fun and laid back - its a big space so not too crowded. Definitely recommend!

Excellent yakisoba!

It's an izakaya at night, but I went there for lunch👶 Lunch is also very serious, with famous abura soba and curry! This time I ordered the Abura Soba, which I have eaten many times in the past. It has a richer flavor that makes you want to eat it regularly instead of the refreshing abura soba noodles in the neighborhood. There are also curry and set menu items, all of which are recommended. It seems like there are a lot of families visiting during lunch time, there are seats for children, and the staff are familiar with the restaurant, so it seems to be popular with families as well. The staff was friendly and energetic as you would expect from an izakaya (?), and I felt at ease 👶 If you want a delicious lunch, come to Giant Panda.
