Komae, Tokyo, Japan｜HAKKŌ BISTRO SAKE-YA KITAMI

A very pleasant micropub/restaurant. The beer selection was good, with most being around 5% (so, not too heavy). Best of all, they serve proper bitter (along with the usual, ubiquitous IPA). The beef in wine was delicious and well-presented, albeit snack sized (I ordered some French fries afterwards). There is no English menu, but most of the beer descriptions are in Romaji.

The craft beer was delicious, but they also have sake that you can't find anywhere else, so if you like it, you can buy it for home. Of course, the food was also delicious 😋 Personally, coffee ale didn't come to mind, but it was definitely a fun shop with many flavors that I wanted to try.
