I often go there with my family (several times a month). In the past, the smell of cigarette smoke ruined the delicious food, and it was the worst, but now it's non-smoking (there seems to be a smoking space), and it's the best to eat purely delicious food. The inside of the store feels like an old, slightly dirty, narrow, homely pub (but there are basement seats), but it has a nice atmosphere. There are several other izakayas in the neighborhood, but the impression is that the atmosphere is more for adults born in the Showa era than for young people like students. However, it is not a gathering place for Jiji Baba (the counter is more adult regulars), and you can see couples and parents with their children. I haven't seen many young people like the yakiton shop next door. I think it's easier for people like that to come to us now that we've become non-smoking. I wonder if the clerk's lineup is almost always the same, and the master's wife and son are also getting hit? The feeling of customer service is normal to pretty good. The store clerk is just right for being quiet. It's a bit tiring for the store clerk to be so excited and actively recommending another serving 😅 The master is basically always busy cooking, so he doesn't come out of the kitchen, but when he enters and leaves the shop, he greets with a loud voice, "Welcome!" and "Thank you!" I will give it to you. It feels so good. I want to go again. The food is relatively reasonable and has a wide variety (I'm glad that there is a wide variety compared to the neighborhood), and you can enjoy delicious home-cooked food that is not ready-made but properly made. Sashimi is always delicious. I think it's rare to be able to eat puffer fish and loach. The speed at which the food is served is pretty good considering that it is made properly. If it is crowded, it will be a little late, but it is within the range that you can wait. Alcohol doesn't have fancy cocktails, but there are other things. There is also plum wine. Clear Asahi mugs are rare. It was difficult to see the inside of the store from the outside, so it was a bit difficult to enter at first.
