You can order anything without hesitation, it will taste good anyway.
It is located at the intersection of Kanpachi and Setagaya Street, on the northeast side of the Sanbonsugi Overpass, and diagonally opposite the Summit Kinuta store. First of all, I would like to disclaim that this is a review of Shimoto. First of all, it is a surprising location that there is a bar in this place. I've always had a feeling that the font on the signboard was ``curious.'' It's far from the station and there's no parking lot, so I guess locals walk there on their way home from work. I came here at the invitation of a friend of mine at 6:30pm on a weekday. As of October 2023, it has been 4 years since the store opened, and it seems that it became independent from other stores during the coronavirus pandemic. The master and the male clerk are together. The staff serve, take orders, and make drinks. The master did all the cooking and washing by himself, and even served the customers. I thought it would be more suitable for people who want to enjoy alcohol and food at a reasonable price, rather than a stylish bar where you can take women. I think the benefits of being a private store are coming out. What I received was ①Kuruma prawn cream croquette ②Omakase (the day's special) The potion was 2.5 times more than I imagined. ③Mebikari fried chicken from Fukushima ④ Salt-grilled sweetfish with roe ⑤Kohada nigiri ⑥ Stir-fried squid and fried potatoes ⑦ Persimmon and Shine Muscat White Ae (with balsamic vinegar) ⑧ Trotak roll (many people ordered it) ⑨Pumpkin and nut salad (same) I had oolong tea. I reserved a seat at the counter, so I was able to watch the fish being prepared and washed right in front of me. My companion ordered an assortment of 5 pieces of sashimi. I thought the portions of sashimi were a little small, but if you usually eat in Ginza or Nihonbashi, you probably won't feel that way. Fully booked from around 7pm, reservations and inquiries are required. To finish off the drinks, there were many orders for noodles, natto rolls, and pickles. I don't know about the bill because my companion brought it to me, but a large plate of ``Omakase Kabutoni'' costs 770 yen, and other dishes start at around 570 yen, so if you're drinking alcohol, ordering 2-3 dishes is enough. I feel like I'm going to be full. The price was quite low considering the quality of the fish served, and I think the customer service was good. Regarding customer service, I don't know of any other privately run bars, so I can't comment on it. Their business is fresh fish, so naturally the menu changes depending on the fish available and from day to day, so even if you try to order a dish from one of the reviews here, you may not be able to eat it. Lastly, I'm sorry for going out to eat even though I couldn't drink alcohol.
