More Comments at Google MapA local grilled pork (Kushiyaki sticks) restaurant ran by a family. It is about 5 minutes walk from the station. The place is tiny but a very warm and at-home atmosphere. The chef used to work at an Italian restaurant so he arranged his original herb-pork and beacon-tomato sticks. Japanese local slow-cooked food are served as side dishes. They also have a good selection of Japanese sake from all over the country as well. Both counter and tables are available. The family is a big fan of The Beatles, and it is enjoyable to talk to them.
There are many types (parts) of skewers, and the sweet and salty sauce is exquisite. I also ordered liver sashimi, which is no longer seen these days, but it is cooked at a low temperature and has a rare texture and a sticky texture that goes well with hot sake. There weren't many fish, but there were some seasonal ones, and they all looked delicious. It was a good restaurant where you can enjoy food in a calm atmosphere. The shop's mother also had a good and pleasant customer service.
No doubt, it's delicious. Kyodo is probably number one when it comes to yakiton. There is also Sakurao gin.
