I was skeptical of entering at first as I was a foreigner, but after going in it all vanished as I was welcomed by Kei, the owner of the restaurant. He made me feel comfortable and treated us with amazing food, from the appetizers to karaage and ramen. Definitely gave us an awesome night.

Kei is incredible. The chicken karaage is a must try (very juicy and he makes it fresh) and the agedashi tofu was really crispy. The food that he cooked was amazing but it was his great attitude and service was what stole the show. Even though we were foreigners, he treated us with such great care. The space inside small but it made for an impactful experience. Would definitely come again when I am back in Tokyo

If you want a great time with the locals as a foreigner, look no further. Kei is an open and attentive owner despite claiming shyness. He made my last night at Japan a blast! Order the karaage for sure
